Saving Sophia by Fleur Hitchcock - review

saving sophia

I thought that Saving Sophia was a great book, it had a fabulous unpredictable adventure with lots of weird and unexpected turns.

Lottie (Charlotte) is the main character in this book, she has very embarrassing parents and not much of an exciting life either. When Sophia comes to Lottie's house with a tall, serious man, Lottie starts to get a bit curious about Sophia and what she's doing at her house. The next day Lottie's class go on a trip to Bream Lodge. When Lottie spots Sophia there, she remembers that she has to look after her for the whole trip. When they all get there Lottie has a talk with Sophia who tells her that she never gets to see her mum. Later on in the trip when they're doing their kayaking activity, Sophia paddles to the shore on the kayak with Lottie in it and runs away in search of her mum! On this unexpected journey Lottie has to go through lots of things that she has never done before like sneaking into someone else's office and stealing.

I would definitely recommend this book. Even though it was a bit weird in some points I sill loved it.
