'Save us!' - Arsenal fans love what Oxlade-Chamberlain has said ahead of Champions League final

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is raring to go for Liverpool in the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal supporters are simplydelighted.

The thought of Spurs lifting Europe's biggest prize is certainly a nightmare scenario for all connected to the Gunners.

They can take some comfort from the fact that the Merseyside giants will be extra fired up after losing to Real Madrid in the final last season as well as doing the double over the Lilywhites in the Premier League this term.

However, form previous results won't count for much come June 1.

Therefore, a number of Arsenal fans have got in touch with Oxlade-Chamberlain on social media to ensure his side get the job done in the Champions League final.

The midfielder left the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2017 under somewhat of a cloud and there was a backlash from a section of Gunners supporters for his decision to join Liverpool.

Although, it would appear all will be forgotten if the England international is on the winning side against Spurs at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium next month.

A serious knee injury ruled Oxlade-Chamberlain out of the final last season and it's limited him to just two substitute appearances this campaign as he also missed the semi-final comeback against Barcelona.

But it would appear that the 25-year-old has declared himself fit for the showpiece occasion.

"If I can be involved, that would be amazing, but just to be around it and be fit and healthy again is good for me as well at the minute," he told the club's official website.

"It's been another little journey for me the last part, but it's been really exciting to be in and around the team and in contention to maybe have some part in the final.

"After 'crutching' my way around the pitch last year, it's nice to be in this situation!"

This has been music to the ears of Arsenal fans and many are desperate for Oxlade-Chamberlain to put a stop to their north London rivals winning the Champions League before they do.
