Since 2010, £60m has been cut from park budgets and almost half of councils are considering selling green spaces.
This could lead to reduced opening hours for parks and public toilets, and less resources to cut the grass and clean play areas, according to a new study.
In response, campaigners have launched a Save Our Parks petition calling on the next government to launch a national inquiry into the problem. So, what are the effects of these budget cuts on parks across the UK?
As this week is National Parks Week, we want to know how the cuts have affected your local park.
