A professional showdown between the decorated world champions and old amateur foes has been a long time in the making, but is finally set to come to pass later in 2022 after Shields easily beat Ema Kozin on her eagerly-awaited UK debut in Cardiff last month.
But first the unbeaten Marshall must successfully defend the WBO middleweight title she has held since October 2020 for the third time against Hermans, an experienced former super-middleweight world champion and current European title holder at 160lbs.

TV channel: In the UK, Saturday night’s Boxxer card is being broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action, with coverage starting at 8pm BST. Main event ring walks are expected at around 10pm.
