
Saudi Arabia will bar people from entering its shopping malls unless they have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the trade ministry said in a decision that will come into effect on Aug. 1.
"Having received at least one vaccine shot will be a condition for entering commercial facilities," the ministry said.
Saudi Arabia announced 19 deaths from COVID-19 and 1,017 new infections on Sunday.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 448,093.
A total of 7,572 people have died from complications caused by the disease.
Over 15.6 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
