Saudi Public Prosecution clarified that the recent discussion on a number of criminal cases is invalid as they fall within the jurisdiction of Public Prosecution according to national law.
Commenting on the statements attributed to some media spokesmen, the Public Prosecution office reaffirmed itself as the body responsible for all criminal cases for the whole procedure of gathering, analyzing, investigating and judging evidence.
No person or entity has the right to intervene or to authorize evidence except Public Prosecution, said an official statement.
