A ballistic missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi insurgents towards Jazan has wounded a Pakistani national, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said Sunday.
The missile fell in a remote area and the Pakistani expatriate was slightly injured, the coalition said in a statement released by the official Saudi Press Agency.
Coalition Spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki condemned the hostile Houthi act, saying that it was a clear and blatant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions 2216 and 2231.
SPA quoted him as saying that such an attack proves Iran’s continued support for the Houthi militias.
