Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Levant Affairs and Special Envoy for Syria Joel D. Rayburn, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During Wednesday’s meeting in Riyadh, they discussed the latest developments in Syria and the exerted efforts to resolve the crisis, SPA said.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Gulf Affairs Thamer bin Sabhan Al-Sabhan and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Economic Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Adel bin Siraj Mirdad, the news agency added.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet's Member Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir also met with Rayburn, and discussed with him the Syrian crisis and regional developments.
