Saudi Arabia has denied it held any talks with Russia over oil prices saying such reports "were baseless."
This came in response to a media report claiming that Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih had discussed with Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak talks over oil production.
Al-Falih "is not playing any role in such discussions nor planning on travelling to Moscow," the ministry said.
It also urged media to avoid publication of any claims that have not been properly corroborated from appropriate and reliable sources.
