Minister of Transport Dr. Nabeel bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, announced the offering of AlKhumra Logistics Zone in Jeddah for investment to the private sector.
In a speech delivered on Sunday during the opening of the Third Saudi Logistics Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, the Minister said that AlKhumra is an umbrella for a number of logistics zones and platforms to be launched in the coming period through a prepared comprehensive strategy and plan, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
He also noted that this has a significant impact on supply chains and logistics sector in Saudi Arabia.
Amoudi added that the Saudi government, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, is keen on improving the various sectors of business and production in the Kingdom to enhance the national economy.
