
In completion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's march in supporting the humanitarian and relief work, the Assistant General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Salah bin Fahd al-Mazrou, inaugurated Wednesday a 13-truck land convoy carrying 209 tons of medical devices, solutions and dialysis supplies within the project of securing the needs of dialysis centers across Yemen.
The convoy was dispatched from KSrelief's permanent headquarters, north of Riyadh.
Dr. Mazrou said the aid comes as an extension of the great interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and their generous directives to the KSrelief to support the Yemeni people and ease their suffering.
He said that the number of Yemeni beneficiaries of this project amounts to 4,254 patients at a value of SR 21 million ($5.6 million).
The convoy comes as part of 274 various projects carried out in all governorates of Yemen, Mazrou added.
The inauguration event was attended by Deputy Minister of Local Administration Abdulsalam Baaboud, who is also member of the Yemeni Higher Relief Committee, Health Coordinator of the Yemeni Higher Relief Committee Dr. Hussein al-Ghanmi and a number of KSrelief’s head officers..
