
The Saudi leadership congratulated on Saturday the Sudanese government and people on the signing of the peace deal.
It stressed that the Kingdom will constantly stand by the Sudanese people in achieving its ambitions and goals.
Saudi Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan was present at the signing ceremony that took place in Juba on Saturday between Sudan’s power-sharing government and several armed groups.
Kattan stressed that Riyadh will continue to support the sovereignty, national unity and regional safety of Sudan until it restores its natural standing in the Arab and Islamic worlds as an effective partner in its surrounding environment.
He relayed to the Sudanese leadership and people the congratulations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Kattan stressed that Saudi Arabia is confident that the Sudanese people will be able to forge ahead with peace, overcome the disputes of the past and build a promising future based on coexistence, justice and equal opportunities for all.
