Saudi KSrelief, MWL Sign Three MoUs to Implement Health Projects

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Thursday three agreements with the World Association for Relief, Care and Development of the Muslim World League.

The deals aim to implement projects of open heart surgery, cardiac catheterization and thyroid tumors in the Republic of Mauritania, Niger and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The agreements were signed by Assistant General Supervisor at KSrelief for Planning and Development Dr. Aqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi and Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Matar, a representative of the International Organization for Relief, Care and Development at KSrelief in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Meanwhile, the Saudi center's medical team for Pediatric Surgery and General Surgery conducted its volunteer medical campaign for pediatric surgery and general surgery in Moheli Island in the United Republic of Comoros.

Today, more than 70 female and male were tested and 21 diagnosed, including eight operations for children and 13 for adults in umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, discarded inguinal hernia, thyroid tumors, fatty tumors and hydrocele.

This medical campaign is part of the voluntary work carried out by the Center to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030
