A delegation of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), headed by its Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Ahmed bin Ali Al-Bayez, had arrived in Beirut on an inspection mission.
The visit aims to launch a meeting with officials and representatives of civil society organizations working in Lebanon to discuss humanitarian projects being carried out by the Center for Syrian refugees and to be briefed on their humanitarian needs.
This comes as an extension of the field visits carried out by the KSrelief staff to follow up the progress of projects implemented in many countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Meanwhile in Yemen, the Saudi center has distributed 2,340 cartons of dates to the needy affected and displaced families in a number of districts in Taiz. Also, it has distributed 665 cartons of dates to the needy in Al Khawkhah District, Al-Hudeidah Governorate.
This comes within the support being provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the current humanitarian crisis.
