Saudi King Receives UN Secretary-General in Riyadh

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh on Tuesday United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The UN official thanked King Salman for the Kingdom’s humanitarian contributions in the world and its major support and funding of the humanitarian response plan in Yemen.

The two officials discussed the role of the UN and its various agencies in supporting global stability and security efforts.

The meeting at the Al-Yamamah Palace was attended by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musa'ed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adel al-Jubeir and the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the UN Abdullah bin Yahiya Al-Mo'ellemi.
