Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh on Monday newly appointed Iraqi parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Hambousi, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The two officials held talks at the al-Yamamah Palace on bilateral ties, as well as cooperation between the Saudi Shura Council and Iraqi legislature.
The talks were attended Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, head of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Sheikh, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, Halbousi’s accompanying delegation of Iraqi lawmakers and other officials.
