Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, sent on Thursday separate cables of condolences to Pakistan over this week’s suicide bombing in Quetta, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Addressing President Mamnoon Hussain, King Salman said on behalf of the Saudi people and government: “We condemn and denounce this terrorist act and express our profound condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and to the people of Pakistan.”

Prince Mohammed sent a similar cable, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Dozens of people were killed on Wednesday when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a polling station in the western Pakistani city of Quetta.
