Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received on Monday cables of congratulations from a number of kings, presidents and emirs of Islamic countries on the advent of the Adha holiday, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The Saudi King and Crown Prince in turn sent each of them cables of thanks, voicing their gratitude for their wishes.

Eid al-Adha falls on Tuesday.

Earlier, King Salman decreed that he will cover the expenses of sacrificial animals for all pilgrims hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guest Program for Hajj and Umrah.

The program is hosting 5,400 pilgrims from 95 countries this year.
