Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, offered on Wednesday their condolences to US President Donald Trump over the victims of recent tornadoes that tore through Alabama, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

In a cable, King Salman offered the Saudi people and government’s condolences to families of the victims, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.

Alabama search and rescue teams on Tuesday were combing through the wreckage of houses flatted by weekend tornadoes, looking for seven or eight people still unaccounted for in the wake of the deadliest US twister outbreak since 2013.

At least 23 people were confirmed killed by the storms, which included four children and seven people from one family, officials.
