Saudi King, Crown Prince Condole Algerian President over Skikda Terror Attack

Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed condemn the Skikda attack in Algeria. (SPA)

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, sent separate cables of condolences on Thursday to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika over the Skikda terrorist attack, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

King Salman condemned the attack, voicing his solidarity with Bouteflika and the Algerian people.

For his part, Prince Mohammed wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

Seven soldiers and four extremists were killed in Monday’s Skikda attack, announced the Algerian Defense Ministry on Tuesday.

The attack had erupted as the military was carrying out a sweep of the Bessi region, it added.
