A general view of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (SPA)

The Saudi Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday the execution of an ISIS militant, who pledged allegiance to the terror group’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He was also guilty of killing his cousin, two security personnel and one civilian.

Majed Saad bin Radhi al-Enezi, a Saudi national, killed his cousin Madous al-Enezi, after handcuffing him in the desert of Hail.

He then killed a member of the security forces and a citizen. He documented the assassination in a video, which he posted on social media.

The Interior Ministry stressed the need to root out those who threaten the Kingdom’s safety and security.

Security forces managed to arrest the perpetrator. He was handed the death sentence by the Specialized Criminal Court following a trial, which found him guilty of committing terrorist acts, the statement added.

It pointed to the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ government to achieve security and justice and implement the provisions of God against all who shed innocent people’s blood.

The defendant plotted the assassination of his cousin with his brother. They all went to the desert under the pretense of hunting migratory birds.

Upon their arrival, they tied up their cousin at gunpoint. The defendant asked his brother to shoot a video of the assassination, he then pledged allegiance Baghdadi and killed his cousin.

The defendant’s brother posted the video on social media and the victim was left at the crime scene.

The unemployed perpetrator, who holds a high school certificate, then went to the Amaer bin Sanaa police station with his brother. They entered the station and killed two security officers and then went to another village and attacked security forces, killing one.

Following these attacks, the two militants ran away to a deserted area and were later captured by security forces.
