Saudi Housing Minister Majed al-Hogail paid a visit to Samba Financial Group on Sunday and met its Chairman, Ammar al-Khudairi.
Hogail congratulated him on assuming his new position, wishing him success in leading the Group towards further progress and prosperity.
The two sides discussed means of boosting cooperation and pushing forward the partnership between the Ministry and the Group towards new horizons, especially after the achievements of the programs and joint initiatives in the field of real estate finance and development housing.
Hogail stressed the importance of the role played by Saudi banks in implementing the programs launched by the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund.
He said these programs enable citizens to own decent housing through easy financing solutions in line with the directives of the wise Saudi leadership and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Housing Minister also pointed out to the unique experience, which brought together Samba and the Ministry at more than one level both in terms of financing programs and community initiatives.
Samba has taken the initiative to provide 500 furnished housing units to the needy, representing a living model of the desired development partnership between the public and private sectors.
Hogail thanked Khudairi and Samba’s employees for their efforts and potentials to achieve the common objectives of both sides and serve the community.
Khudairi, for his part, welcomed Hogail and his accompanying delegation and praised the concrete steps taken by the Ministry towards stimulating partnership with the private sector to accelerate the pace of development projects.
He stressed Samba's commitment to boost its contributing role to supporting the programs approved by the housing ministry.
Khudairi said that Samba's affordable mortgage financing system along with its quality charitable initiatives are based on the bank's commitment to its social responsibility and are part of Samba's leading role as an active development partner.
