Saudi Health Ministry Recommends Adhering to Safety Guidelines after Receiving Vaccine

The Saudi Health Ministry on Friday renewed its recommendations to hold onto precautionary measures, such as wearing face masks and social distancing, even after receiving the vaccine against the coronavirus.

The Ministry stressed that the vaccine reduces virus transmission to a large extent but does not stop it.

The Ministry announced 11 deaths from the COVID-19 disease and 1,247 new infections.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 496,810, it said.

A total of 8,141 people have died in the Kingdom from complications caused by the disease, it added.
