The Saudi Health Ministry registered on Wednesday 775 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 323,012.

In a daily briefing on the outbreak, it said 720 more people have recovered from the virus, taking the tally to 298,966.

Twenty-eight fatalities were confirmed, bringing the death toll to 4,165.

Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali revealed that the majority of patients in critical condition were responding to treatment.

He warned that new waves of any pandemic are a result of people’s non-compliance with health precautions.

“We hope that we will not confront a new wave. Fortunately, the situation in the Kingdom is developing positively and the pandemic is easing,” he added.
