
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks on Tuesday with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Discussions focused on regional and international developments and bilateral relations, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Prince Faisal had received his guest and the accompanying delegation at his office in the Makkah region.
Cavusoglu later tweeted that he agreed with Prince Faisal to “work on positive issues on our common agenda and to hold regular consultations.”
“Our close cooperation will contribute to stability, peace and prosperity in the region,” he added.
The Turkish official had arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
