Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Tuesday Two separate phone calls from each of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Costa Rica, Rodolfo Solano Quirós.
During the call with Pedersen, the two officials discussed the latest developments in Syria, and the United Nations’ work in relation to these new issues.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Prince and his Costa Rican Counterpart discussed the longstanding friendship between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
They also reviewed the developments of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and efforts exerted by the two countries to contain it, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
