Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Friday the US Special Envoy for Iran, Robert Malley, and discussed with him the joint efforts exerted against "Iranian violations of international treaties related to the nuclear agreement," the Saudi foreign ministry said.
They also discussed ways to strengthen Saudi-US cooperation on the Iranian nuclear program, and relevant international negotiations, the ministry said in a statement.
They further stressed joint work to halt the Iranian support to terrorist militias destabilizing the Middle East and the world.
Held on the sidelines of the Saudi FM’s visit to Washington, the meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan.
