Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan delivered a message reaffirming Saudi support for Jordan, the Jordanian foreign ministry said on Tuesday, amid frictions between King Abdullah II and his half-brother Prince Hamza.
The Saudi minister arrived on Monday in Amman and met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, the ministry said.
He delivered to King Abdullah a message from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
On Tuesday, Jordan's public prosecutor banned all media and social media from publishing content about the feud, the state news agency Petra reported.
