Saudi FM Holds Talks with UN Envoy to Syria

Saudi FM Assaf holds talks with UN envoy to Syria Pedersen. (SPA)

Saudi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Assaf held talks on Thursday with UN special envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen on the sidelines of Davos Economic Forum, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The officials discussed the latest developments in the Syrian conflict and efforts to achieve security and stability for the people.

Assaf also held talks with his counterparts from Iraq, Mohammed al-Hakim, Algeria, Abdelkader Messahel, Jordan, Ayman al-Safadi, Japan, Taro Kono, and Austria, Karin Kneissl.
