Ehkaam electronic platform received over 700,000 applications for property ownership, according to released data.
Ehkaam is an electronic platform launched by the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) in December 2020 to receive requests for ownership and change of properties.
Ehkaam general secretariat will provide the necessary technical and administrative support to the committees that study the ownership requests.
The committees are formed of six government sectors, including REGA and the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Environment, Water and Agriculture, Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, and Finance.
They will study requests that do not have the proper legal documents or procedures to ensure that all the necessary requirements and conditions are met, in coordination with more than 13 bodies related to the work of the committees.
