The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, otherwise known as Emaar, under the chairmanship of Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, is partaking in the 74th UN General Assembly session.

Introducing the program and its efforts and development projects in Yemen, it held an exhibition at the UN headquarters in New York City, US.

Program representatives offered a presentation about development and reconstruction projects in Yemen to many visiting political and diplomatic figures and representatives of international missions at the United Nations General Assembly and a number of television channels and media.

The exhibition is scheduled to run for the whole week. It also employs VR technology to display its projects across Yemeni provinces.

Seven main sectors, including the war-torn country’s education and energy sectors, have benefited from the program.

The exhibition showcases videos from aid projects. It offers a picture collage of children benefiting from initiatives in the education sector, as well as images for beneficiaries from all age groups from other development projects.

Emaar projects have had a positive impact on the livelihood of Yemeni citizens, and contributed to strengthening the Yemeni economy both directly and indirectly.

The program’s delegation distributed publications and brochures, in addition to periodicals related to the program, accompanied by a comprehensive oral explanation, which was provided to all visitors to the exhibition in several languages.
