Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman paid a visit to Iraq where he held talks with President Barham Salih, Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi and Defense Minister Juma Anad Al Juburi.
In a series of tweets, Prince Khalid said he conveyed to the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
“We discussed the brotherly ties between our two countries, and ways to improve the relationship across all avenues,” he added.
On his talks with Kadhimi, Halbousi and Al Juburi, Prince Khalid said talks focused on “our distinguished and brotherly relationship as well as issues of mutual interests to both our countries.”
