Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman received in Riyadh on Monday US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
Discussions focused on the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States in the defense and military fields.
They tackled the developments in the region and efforts exerted towards them in service of international security and peace.
The officials agreed on the need to confront all forms of terrorism and threats to the region through the advanced defense coordination between their friendly countries.
In a tweet, Prince Khalid said the meeting was an opportunity to “confirm our two countries' resolve in securing the region, within the context of our historical partnership with the US.”
