Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held talks on Tuesday with US President Donald Trump in Washington at the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Prince Khalid tweeted that he delivered a message from the Crown Prince to Trump during his visit to the US.
Discussions focused on cooperation and coordination between Riyadh and Washington in various fields, as well as joint efforts towards regional and international challenges.
Later on Tuesday, Prince Khalid said he had met in London with David Quarrey, the British prime minister’s international affairs adviser and deputy national security adviser, to discuss regional and international developments.
On Monday, Prince Khalid met separately with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper.
