The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Sunday the Kingdom's defenses shot down two drones fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen at Abha International Airport.
The coalition accused the Houthis of deliberately seeking to harm travelers during the dawn attack.
Three drones were launched towards the Kingdom from Sanaa International Airport, which the coalition said has become a platform for carrying out cross border attacks.
The third drone launched and destroyed on Sunday was aimed at the Khamis Mushait region in Saudi Arabia.
On Saturday, the coalition said it had carried out 19 operations against the Houthis in Yemen's Marib and al-Jawf provinces in the past 24 hours.
The operations left 80 terrorist Houthis dead and destroyed 11 of their vehicles.
