Saudi air defenses intercepted and downed on Saturday a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias in Yemen towards the Kingdom.

The missile was fired at Najran city.

The Saudi-led Arab coalition accused the Houthis of deliberately attacking civilians and civilian locations.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the terrorist Houthi practices and their backers who are providing them with funds and weapons.

It slammed the militias for targeting innocent civilians and civilian areas, reiterating its support to all the measures Saudi Arabia takes to preserve its security and stability and the safety of its residents and citizens.

The coalition later destroyed a military position in Yemen’s al-Jawf that the Houthis were using to launch armed drones.
