
Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq on Tuesday awarded visiting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, with Oman First-Degree Order of Honor, which is one of the country's top awards.
The sultanate grants this medal to kings, heads of states, crown princes, heads of governments of countries with which Muscat holds distinguished relations.
Upon the arrival of the motorcade of the Crown Prince and Oman’s Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik at Al Alam Palace courtyard, the Sultan accompanied the Crown Prince as the Royal Anthem of Saudi Arabia was played, while the artillery fired a 21-gun salute for the Crown Prince.
