Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received on Monday a telephone call from US Defense Secretary Mark Esper, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Esper confirmed to Crown Prince Mohammed Washington’s complete support to Riyadh in wake of the recent attacks against Saudi Aramco oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais.
He stressed that the US was studying all possible options to confront the attacks against the Kingdom.
He hailed Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting international efforts to confront the Iranian threat against marine navigation.
Crown Prince Mohammed said that the Iranian threats were not directed against the Kingdom alone, but their impact reaches the Middle East and world.
