Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed during their telephone call on Tuesday on the need for the concerned parties in Yemen to respect the Sweden deal.
Pompeo thanked the Crown Prince for Saudi Arabia’s support for UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths’ efforts to advance the political process in Yemen, said the US State Department Wednesday.
They also discussed human rights issues and broader developments in the region.
