Saudi Crown Prince Not Seeking to Buy Manchester United

Saudi Information Minister Turki al-Shabanah denied reports that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, was seeking to buy the Manchester United English football club.

These reports are “completely false,” he said on Twitter.

Manchester United held a meeting with the Saudi Public Investment Fund to discuss a sponsorship opportunity, Shabanah added, revealing that that no deal materialized.
