Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the French president held a joint phone call with Lebanon’s prime minister during Emmanuel Macron’s visit to the Kingdom on Saturday.
PM Najib Mikati expressed Lebanon's appreciation for the great efforts being exerted by the Kingdom and France to stand by the Lebanese people, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
He expressed the commitment of the Lebanese government to strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and reject anything that would harm their security and stability, SPA said.
The three countries agreed to work together to support the comprehensive reforms that are necessary for Lebanon, it added.
