Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has received a phone call from Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono, the Saudi Press Agency reported Tuesday.
During the phone conversation, they discussed prospects for defense cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed regional security and efforts exerted to ensure the safety of maritime navigation, SPA said.
Also Tuesday, the Crown Prince made a phone call to Kuwaiti Deputy Emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the news agency said.
During the call, the Crown Prince inquired about the health of Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Nawaf thanked the Saudi Crown Prince for his call, which reflects the deep brotherly relations between the two countries, SPA added.
