
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, departed Bahrain on Monday after a two-day visit.
He was seen off at the airport by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Prince Mohammed sent a cable thanking King Hamad for his warm reception, underlining the fraternal bonds that tie their two kingdoms.
The two royals had earlier on Monday inaugurated new oil pipelines, between Saudi Aramco and Bahrain’s Bapco, that can pump 320,000 barrels per day, with a maximum capacity of 350,000 barrels per day.
The 110-km pipeline connects Abgaig in Saudi Arabia, and Bapco refinery, in Bahrain.
Prince Mohammed had held talks in Bahrain with Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He had held talks on Sunday with King Hamad.
Bahrain was the second stop in Crown Prince Mohammed’s Arab tour, which he kicked off Thursday by visiting the United Arab Emirates.
