Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, arrived in Islamabad Sunday on an official visit to Pakistan where Saudi officials signed with their Pakistani counterparts seven agreements and MoUs worth $20 billion.

At Khan Air Force Base, the Crown Prince was received by Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan; Commander of the Pakistani Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa; Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki, and Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz.

Upon arrival, the artillery fired 21 rounds of greeting to the Crown Prince. A number of Pakistani fighter jets accompanied his plane when entering Pakistan's airspace.

The Pakistani Prime Minister accompanied the Crown Prince to the Presidential Palace in Islamabad.

Shortly after his arrival, Crown Prince Mohammed attended a signing ceremony for the investment agreements and MoUs, most of them focusing on energy projects.

"This is first phase," he said, at the ceremony, adding that he hoped the future would bring even more Saudi investment in Pakistan.
