Saudi-Chinese Investment Forum Signs 35 Deals During Crown Prince’s Beijing Visit

The Saudi-Chinese Investment Forum concluded its proceedings on Friday by signing 35 joint bilateral economic cooperation agreements worth more than $28 billion, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The forum witnessed the participation of more than 1,000 decision-makers and investors and coincided with the official visit to China by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

At the forum, participants expressed their keenness to further expand the partnership and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China.

The cooperation agreements covered renewable energy applications, petrochemical industry, information technology and infrastructure.

In addition, more than 25 entities representing Saudi government and private sectors took part in an exhibition promoting investment in Saudi Arabia that was held on the sidelines of the forum.
