
The Saudi Journalists Association and the Bahraini Journalists Association signed in Riyadh a joint agreement aiming to consolidate cooperation and coordination to meet all challenges, including addressing media outlets targeting the two countries designed to undermine the civilizational gains achieved in both countries in all fields, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The signing ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, was attended by Bahraini Minister of Media Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi as well as a number of Saudi and Bahraini senior officials in the sectors of media and journalism.
For his part, the Bahraini Minister hailed the historic relations binding the two brotherly countries.
Also, Khalid bin Hamad Al-Malik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Journalists Association, affirmed that this important agreement will consolidate integration and coordination to serve journalists in both countries.
