The Private Sector Stimulus Unit at the Saudi Exports Development Authority launched the trial phase of the Saudi Exports Stimulus Program.
The program supports national exporters in order to expand into international markets and increase their competitiveness through providing nine incentives in line with requirements of the World Trade Organization.
The incentives range from SAR20,000 (USD5,000) and up to SAR250,000 (USD66,000) and aim to help Saudi companies cover activities related to developing export abilities.
The program is set to officially start in Q3 2019, and exports will be able to register for it online through Saudi Exports’ website.
Saudi Exports stated that it is dedicating all of its abilities to enhance the efficiency of the export environment and to overcome obstacles that exporters may encounter. It also seeks to raise awareness on exporting practices and develop human qualifications in this sector.
The authority is also working on increasing the exportation readiness of targeted institutions. It also seeks to facilitate finding adequate export opportunities and markets through the preparation of access guides to global markets and presenting Saudi products at international expos.
Saudi Exports is also presenting a service that links importers with purchasers and potential firms through business missions and bilateral meetings on the sidelines of international expos.
