Saudi Aramco supplier HD Fire plans to launch IPO in October

Fire protection systems manufacturer HD Fire Protect plans to launch its initial public offering (IPO) in October, according to a PTI report. The proposed public issue comprises an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 2.6 crore equity shares by the promoters, with no fresh issue component.

The company is currently undertaking institutional roadshows as part of the marketing process for the proposed IPO. Ambit, Anand Rathi Advisors and IIFL Capital Services are the book-running lead managers to the issue.

The company has supplied products for several landmark projects in India and overseas. These include fire protection equipment at the new Indian Parliament building, and for India’s largest refinery in Jamnagar, master stream nozzle installations at India’s space launch pad in Sriharikota, deluge valves for Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura Sea Island project, and fire protection equipment for Oman’s Integrated Power & Water Plant Project.

As part of its international growth strategy, the company is focusing on expanding its footprint across Saudi Arabia, Southeast Asia and other strategically aligned markets, where rising infrastructure investments and increasingly stringent fire safety regulations are expected to drive demand.

It plans to establish a local manufacturing and trading presence in Saudi Arabia over the next one to two years in collaboration with a shortlisted partner, subject to regulatory approvals. The initiative is expected to strengthen customer servicing, improve localisation, reduce logistics and enhance eligibility for large government projects.

The company is also deepening its engagement in infrastructure and urban development projects across the Middle East and South Asia while seeking to increase business from existing customers through customised solutions, closer collaboration during project design and development, and enhanced compliance expertise. It also sees significant opportunities in emerging sectors such as data centres and warehousing, where demand for certified fire protection systems continues to grow.

According to the CRISIL Report, the Indian fire protection equipment market is projected to reach Rs 16,500–17,500 crore by FY 2030, driven by increasing investments in fire safety infrastructure and stricter regulatory compliance.

The Mumbai-based firm operates two manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, catering for customers across diverse sectors such as industrials, heavy engineering, aerospace, oil & gas, refining and petrochemicals, power & energy, pharmaceuticals, data centres and warehousing.
