Saudi Arabia underscored on Wednesday its firm and constant stance towards the Palestinian cause and people.
In a tweet, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said this position “will not change as the Kingdom allows flights departing from and arriving in the United Arab Emirates to fly over its territories.”
Moreover, he stressed that the Kingdom appreciated all efforts aimed at achieving just and permanent peace according to the 2002 Arab peace initiative.
Saudi Arabia had earlier on Wednesday announced that it had approved an Emirati request to allow flights arriving in and departing from the UAE to fly over its territories.
