Saudi Arabia has transferred $60 million to the budget of the Palestinian Authority, reported the Saudi Press Agency Wednesday.

Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli said that the Saudi Fund for Development sent the funds to the Palestinian Ministry of Finance.

The sum accounts for the Kingdom’s contributions to support the PA budget for November and December 2018 and January 2019.

Naqli explained that the contribution is part of Saudi Arabia’s permanent support for the Palestinian cause at all political, economic and humanitarian levels.
